Who Beneath the Hue

There was something extremely beautiful about how the air looked after it rained last Saturday. My senses had picked up on the unusual marigold-like color in the sky since sitting on the train to Jakarta, but it still caught me off guard just how beautiful the most mundane activities looked beneath that hue.

Upon arriving at our destination station, my sister and I chose not to go straight back to our respective places. Instead, we wandered for a little while, soaking everything in under the tint, simply slowing down. Unexpectedly, a cute little cat decided to join us near a small green patch. It looked annoyed at first, but eventually relaxed—or perhaps it, too, had been captivated by how everything looked that day. We never knew.
