Things I See When I Walk/Jog (Pt. 2)

I'm gonna say something you're about to misinterpret: I'm a "night walker". Before you ask, and I'm quite confident with the said allegation both you and I have silently made, let me remind you that space fabricates a huge difference. I'm not a creature of shadow, nor am I a criminal toiling away the night. I'm just filling in this different kind of space, formed between Mayor somewhere around that monthand October, in regards to my current favorite physical exertion, which happens in a greater frequency at night.

Walking at night has been fun, but doing so in the morning feels even more pleasing due to its lack of recurrences. Perhaps that's also a part of the reason why my sister felt like leveling up her game. While I don't make any physical diary, I've been taking pictures now and then to keep the motivation somewhat more stable, so let me present to you some highlights notable enough to get a spot:

After I quit my last job, I had these two working days to spend as an unemployed. October 2nd, 2023 marked the date of my last day of being out of the squirrel cage, and also my official come back to the take-a-regular-walk routine. I remember it being a beautiful morning for my mom, my sister, and me. We witnessed how the blue sky turned gradually lighter until we were all hungry and treated ourselves to a pack of kue panconga traditional Indonesian snack made from rice flour and coconut-based batter.

It's the day I was determined to do a 100-day walking challenge sponsored by me, myself, and I. Since I was the only participant, I had the liberty to skip any day without continuing the day countit's a rule made to align the less-pressure life I was adapting to. Moreover, I didn't want to take the fun out of walking.

Never been to a music concert beforeain't a big fan of loud music blaring from big speakers in a crowded area. With that said, I had never gone to Gelora Bung Karno before in my life until a sunny Saturday, October 7th this year. I walked several laps with Olivia Rodrigo's latest album rocking my senses until I felt like I had finally started to catch up with everything I had missed in life.

It was quite unexpected and honestly unplanned, but my first time joining Car Free Day in Sudirman marked my longest walk by far: 11.66 km, 14,696 steps, 2 hours 46 minutes. Forget about the bowl of porridge I couldn't finish because of how spicy it was'twas my best achievement so far and my feet didn't even hurt the next day!

... and like they say, all the badass b*tches keep their exercises going.
